St. Cuthberts is open for services on Sundays and other events and remains open every day for visitors from 9:00am until dusk.

Saturday Coffee Morning - from 10:00am every week -

St. Cuthbert's holds a regular coffee and chat event every Saturday morning - commencing at 10:00 am.  All are welcome to enjoy good coffee and, courtesy of our willing helpers,  a variety of tasty bites to eat - more than just biscuits!

Take a welcome break in the Church - every day - currently not available

Just inside our Church, on the table near the door, you will find tea, coffee, sugar and milk in the hospitality basket ready to refresh you every day of the week.  There is a kettle for your use on the worktop adjacent to the sink and all we ask is you is to please switch it off when you leave.   

Do stay awhile and enjoy the peace and quiet of this uplifting place where people have been worshipping for almost 850 years. 

The Church is open every day of the year except when being prepared for a special event - so you are almost certain to be able  come in and share our special place.

In the south aisle's Trinity Chapel you will find some prayer cards and a votive stand and plenty of prayer candles.  These candles are battery operated and a small donation would be appreciated.

There is a good collection of second-hand books for sale in the north aisle - almost 500 of them; 50p for paperbacks £1 for hard backs, please pop the money in the wall safe adjacent to the kitchenette -  now available
